Wishful Thinking has just released their new EP, Looking Back, a collection of nine songs written in our youth as well as more recent compositions, all reflecting our days growing up in Arlington, Virginia. It's songs celebrate the sweet pain of first love. The frigid absurdity of predawn swim meets. The fun of a cappella singing. And the eternal pledges of lifelong friends, scribbled in aging pages.
Of particular note, Don wrote and Frank sings “Long Live Your Song,” a tribute to the late Dr. Robert Baxter, their beloved choir director at Washington-Lee High School. We’re also grateful to Elaine Kuntz, Class of 1959, for the use of her winsome watercolor of the original W-L building, which she painted for her 50th Class Reunion. You can order prints and cards of her painting here: https://www.elainekuntz.com/styled-2/
